Dr. Sprague is nationally certified as an advanced practice family practice nurse practitioner, allowing her to practice independently in California without the need for a collaborating physician. She received her Masters Degree in Family Practice as a Nurse Practitioner from California State Dominguez Hill and her Doctor of Philosophy in Business / Healthcare Administration from Northcentral University, her dissertation focusing on access within Health Care.

Dr. Sprague has an extensive background in education, clinical practice and leadership; she has taught at all levels of Nursing education for the past 20 years and focused her clinical practice within Primary Care. She has also served as the director for many outpatient clinics including those at Palomar Health and Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest.
