Food Give-aways, Mental Health Professionals and Resources On Site, Anxiety and Stress, Grief Support, Healing Circles, Drug Addiction-Substance Abuse, Housing /Rent Support, Domestic Violence, Support for Home Care Givers, Dementia/ Alzheimer's Family Support, Prayer and Meditation, Yoga/Exercise, Children's Games, Nutrition/Cooking Demonstration, Break-out Sessions and Panel Discussions for Pastors and Community - "De-Mystifying Mental Health", Support for Youth and Young Adults, Mobile Clinic.

As many students are preparing to go back to school please feel free to take advantage of this back to school event in which backpacks and school supplies will be given out for the first 200 children!

Event will take place on Friday, August 11th 2023 at the Carson Community Center (801 E Carson St, Carson, CA 90745) from 9AM to 2PM

A senior health fair with various organizations offering free services and health screenings, and a legislative briefing with updates of Rep. Nanette Barragan work in Washington, D.C. A free, hot meal will be served.

The Backpack Give-A-Way is an annual initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged students in our community as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

Event will take place on SATURDAY July 29th, 2023 at the Chula Vista Family Health Center (251 Landis Avenue Chula Vista, CA 91910) To reserve an appointment, call (619) 451-6140.

To qualify you must be a woman who is:

• 40 years or older

• Have no insurance or be underinsured

• Meet low-income guidelines

• Not had a mammogram in the last year
