Angela Williams, PhD, FNP-C, LPHA

Dr. Angela Williams, a Nurse Practitioner at the National University Nurse Managed Clinic in Los Angeles and a Tenured Track Assistant Professor at California State University Los Angeles, boasts an extensive background in nursing and education spanning over three decades. Dr. Williams previously served as the Director of the Simulation Center at Cal State LA, Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the university's first Virtual Reality Lab.

Her commitment to addressing healthcare disparities in underserved communities, particularly in African-American neighborhoods, is exemplary. Dr. Williams dedicates herself to educating these communities on effectively managing chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. Moreover, she advocates for mental health awareness, with a special focus on black maternal and infant health.
